Renewed Mind Media is a California-based nonprofit and the connective tissue behind a family of ministry brands united by a single conviction: transformation is possible for every person, every family, and every community through the power of Jesus Christ.
Our Story
It began with one changed life.
In 2012, John Rizzi's life changed completely. What followed was more than personal transformation — it was the slow, grace-filled discovery of what God can do when a person's mind is truly renewed.
That single shift became the seed for everything Renewed Mind Media exists to do today. Over the next decade, John walked alongside other men in the same journey — leading studies, mentoring, building community, and developing content that didn't just inform, but transformed.
Around the same time, Jeff Leite was investing more than two decades into Christian men's ministry, writing studies, teaching, and equipping the men around him with tools that took them deeper than the surface of faith. The two of them, on parallel paths, kept arriving at the same conclusion: real change happens when truth meets the mind in the right way, at the right time, with the right people.
Renewed Mind Media was founded to take that conviction and turn it into something scalable: content, books, programs, and ministry brands that any church, any small group, any individual could pick up and put to use. The hub model — one organization, many doorways — became the structure that holds it all together.
Today, RMM is the umbrella for a growing family of ministries, including Recovery Lifestyle, Recovery Transformed, and 119:Nine. Each one serves a distinct audience. Every one points to the same destination: a life genuinely transformed by the renewing of the mind in Christ.
What We Believe
Four core convictions.
Everything we build flows from these. They're not a marketing exercise — they're the framework we return to every time we decide what to write, what to teach, what to launch, and who to partner with.
We don't settle for behavioral modification or surface-level adjustment. We believe in genuine, Spirit-led life change that starts in the mind and works its way outward into every part of a person's life — identity, relationships, work, family, future.
Getting free is only the beginning. We point people toward a full, purposeful life — rooted in identity, community, and a deep relationship with Christ. Freedom from anything is the door. Wholeness is the room you walk into.
Local churches are uniquely positioned to help people heal and flourish. Our work exists to resource and equip them for that mission — not to compete with them, replace them, or do what only they can do.
We strip away complexity and build systems, content, and communities that are clear, accessible, and replicable at every level — from a single small group to a national network. If it can't be passed on, it can't transform.
Leadership
Meet the founders.
Two men, two journeys, one shared conviction: that the Word of God, applied with intentionality and community, produces lasting change.
After a life-changing event in 2012, John began a journey of personal and spiritual transformation that reshaped his identity, relationships, and direction in life. Since then, he has spent over a decade walking alongside others — leading studies, mentoring men, developing content, and pursuing God through a life of service. He is the co-founder of Renewed Mind Media, a ministry dedicated to helping people experience lasting transformation by living out the promises of a life committed to following Jesus.
Jeff brings more than 20 years of experience working with Christian men and men's groups in ministry. He is the co-author of Being Transformed: Overcoming Unforgiveness, Resentment and Bitterness to Better Love God and Others, the two-book Recovery Transformed study, and the forthcoming Knowing God's Love: Transforming our Inner Voice. His writing and teaching reflect a lifelong commitment to helping men encounter Scripture as a living Word that reshapes the mind, the heart, and the will.
